MicahSummary of the book:
The purpose of the book of Micah was to declare warning and judgment to both the Northern and the Southern kingdom. The prophet Micah wrote this book. Micah's ministry was remembered hundred of years later. The structure of the book is two round of judgment and restoration. The first round is judgment with chapters one-three, followed by restoration in chapters four-five. The second round is judgment in chapter six and then restoration in chapter seven. Micah warned the people of Israel that they were going to be judged for their sins, but then later on God will restore them in the last days. This will be a time of peace and contentment, but it is only for a small remnant who follow him and turn from evil. |

How Can You Apply This To Your Own Life?
Applications: God's predictions may take awhile to come true, but they will. It took almost two hundred years for Jerusalem to fall, but God know it was going to. He knows what is going to happen in our life and nothing surprises him. He is also not afraid to judge us for our sins. He may judge his people, but he also is a God of grace and will restore his people.
